RUTGERS GARDENS
Rutgers Gardens is The Arboretum and Public Garden on the Campus of Rutgers University.
The Gardens are a learning center for plants,
providing information on how these plants can best be used in the created
landscape, as well as how and where they grow in the natural landscape. The
objective of Rutgers Gardens is to educate both students and the general
public alike about the culture and identification of plant materials, as
well as the proper role these plants have in the garden and the natural
environment.
We use Rutgers Gardens to see labeled, mature specimens as they evolve
through the seasons. The photos below show the plant labels on some mature
